I had just bought a brand new white Toyota Camry. I came home from a walk to find my neighbor’s toddler standing in my driveway with a handful of permanent markers. He was proud of his "pretty" work, but his mother’s reaction was even worse than the scribbles: she claimed he’d actually improved the car because white was "boring."
